Although I had time in between shifts to go home and eat there, I still wanted to incorporate part of my original plan and pick up something fun for dinner. I decided to go somewhere I always walked past but had never gone in- Liquid Nutrition. They offer healthy snack foods like Larabars and Clif bars and a fantastic smoothie menu. After lots of deliberation I settled on the Matcha-Skinny smoothie, a blend of apple juice, mangoes, cantaloupe, matcha green tea and stevia. This huge smoothie has only 161 calories too! And the taste? Amazing. I can't wait to go back and try a few more off their menu. I'm especially intrigued by the Early Bird one, which actually has oatmeal in it!
I snapped a pic of my smoothie as I was walking home from work because it was too good for me not to sip along the way home! When I did get home, I made a quick bowl of 2% plain yogurt, a little more than half a banana (the other part fell into the soapy sink somehow- yeah I don't know how I managed that one....) and a serving of Special K Cinnamon Pecan cereal. I dropped a couple of yogurt covered raisins on top too. Yum!
